The format / 01
Not a choose-your-own-dialogue show. A fictional workplace with recurring personalities, unfinished business, and an audience that can make a routine shift anything but routine.
The audience controls the consequences, not the characters.
A call from corporate. A camera failure. A delivery nobody ordered. Planned viewer interactions introduce events into the live story.
The characters react in their own way, trying to do their jobs while each new problem collides with the last.
Unresolved incidents, changing relationships, and lingering mysteries feed the next episode. The best moments become short-form clips.
SHIFT STARTA security officer settles in to finish the incident log.
AUDIENCE EVENTCorporate calls. A camera goes down. A mysterious package arrives.
CARRYOVERSomeone calls about last week’s unresolved incident. The paperwork can wait.
